Hi, I am Angela; open-minded advisor, mostly-smiling wisdom-sharing observer, passionate pioneer and eternal optimist.
I created Belladonna Career Coaching as a place of learning primarily about ourselves, what drives us and motivates us and what might get in our way of living our best lives.

How did I become a coach?
The quick answer is, by working with a coach and experiencing the power of coaching first-hand.
I was a Marketing Director overseeing a nine-member team that was in desperate need of transformation, but I had no clue of how to guide them. My employer invested in my professional development by pairing me with a career coach. Through the process, I was able to build a high-performance team by raising everyone’s level of self-awareness, creating a common vision and agreeing on shared values.
My experience in working with a professional coach changed my career trajectory. Eventually I was promoted to Vice President and entrusted with a global team of 65 employees. Their professional development became a major driver for me, and coaching was a big component of their success.
Following a layoff from an executive job and with a lot of time to reflect, I discovered my passion in life – which is sharing my own transformational journey and the lessons I have learned along the way. I now am dedicated to help professionals transform mindfully and with ease so they can soar in all areas of their lives.
I graduated from the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) as a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) in 2021 and received credentialing as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coaching Federation in 2022. I invested over 250 hours in coaching training and have additional certificates as a COR.E Dynamics Leadership specialist and as an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI MP).
On a personal note…
- I was born, raised and educated in Germany and moved to the United States permanently in 1996 after I had completed a guest semester at the University of Florida in Gainesville
- I love dogs, in particular rescue dogs. My current furry companion is a chocolate lab named Boone. He enjoys long walks on nature trails, playing fetch and cuddling.
- Health and Fitness is important to me. I am a Crossfitter and throw heavy weights around at least five times a week. I also practice Karate.
- I am well-traveled and have visited six continents (only missing Antarctica) and lived in three countries. I speak English, German and French, and have dual citizenship (German/American).
